I wasn’t always a reader. In fact, I picked up my first novel — One Night @ the Call Center — much later than most. But once I entered that world, something inside me shifted. Reading became more than an activity; it became an alchemical process. Every book I read left behind a little gold — a thought, a lesson, a feeling that stayed.
That is how The Book Alchemist was born.
An alchemist transforms the ordinary into something extraordinary. Through this blog, I try to do the same with books. I read, I reflect, and I extract the essence — the literary insights that make a story meaningful. For me, reading is not just flipping pages; it’s the art of understanding life, one paragraph at a time on my reading journey.
My love for music, too, blends into this journey. Like a violin string that sings or a bamboo flute that breathes, books have their own music — subtle, emotional, transformative. And I try to capture that music in every book review I write.
